Pete separated from the United States Marine Corps in July, 2015, after serving two years at 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion (2004-2005) and ten honorable years in Marine Special Operations Command (2005-2015). A plank owner with 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion, he deployed with Alpha and Delta Companies in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Helmand Valley, Afghanistan. Pete served as the Staff Noncommissioned Officer In Charge (SNCIOC) of the Battalion Training Cell, and served as an Element Leader with Bravo Company advising 7th Commandos in Helmand Valley, Afghanistan. His last assignment was Lead Instructor during Weapons training block of Phase I at ITC, until voluntary separation from the military. Pete has successfully transitioned from active duty life into a lucrative career working as a Sales Manager for Gentex and Ops-Core. In his free time, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife Erin, their twins Sienna and Grayson, and mountaineering.
