To date, the Marine Raider Foundation has provided over $3,250,000 in assistance thanks to the support of our donors and fundraisers. In 2018, your donor dollars helped make a difference in the Raider community by:

    • Providing funding for the memorial constructed to honor the men lost in the KC-130 plane crash on July 10, 2017, including Raiders SSgt William Kundrat, SSgt Robert Cox, Sgt Chad Jenson, Sgt Talon Leach, HM1 Ryan Lohrey, Sgt Joseph Murray, and Sgt Dietrich Schmieman.  The Foundation also funded travel to bring the families of the 7 Raiders to the memorial dedication ceremony in Mississippi

    • Funding to bring 12 WWII Marine Raiders to the Marine Raider Association Reunion held in Washington, DC

    • Hosting 75 Gold Star Family Members at the Foundation’s 5th Annual Resiliency and Remembrance Event in North Carolina

    • Assisting 4 Raider families whose homes were severely damaged by Hurricane Florence

    • Funding for 35 Family Resiliency Events, including couples’ events, pre-and-post deployment briefs, spouse events and children events

    • Funding One-Time Transition Assistance Grants for 60 Raiders who are separating from military service and re-entering the civilian sector

    • Funding for an executive-level transition program for Raiders stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC

    • Assisting 30 Raider families with out-of-pocket expenses associated with health and medical issues to include travel, treatment and equipment not covered by insurance
