Come and support the Marine Raider Foundation (MRF) at the Annual Raider Invasion Charity Golf Tournament on Friday June 18, 2021. The MRF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to provide benevolent support to active duty and retired Marine Raiders. This year, as in years past, the tournament will be held on the North Ocean Course at Pelican Hill Golf Course, Newport Coast. History of the Event
This event began in 2018 by Orange County Marine Raider Foundation ambassadors to raise charitable donations through building awareness of the Marine Raiders and their participation as the newest organization of Special Operations Command (SOCOM). This group of ambassadors is led by Marine Raider Foundatoin Board Member Alex Martini of Stream Realty Partners and includes Jamie Kline of JLL, McCay Major of Manulife, Felipe Hermosillo of the Judge Firm, Tanner Tremaine of Majestic Realty, Keith Perrigon of KPMG and Sam Overton of Citizen’s Business Bank. In addition to these ambassadors, Louis Balducci of Young’s Market has been instrumental in creating this incredible event. In its first two years, the Raider Invasion Golf Tournament raised over $195,000 to help support the Marine Raider Foundation’s mission. While 2020 saw the event cancelled due to COVID19, the Raider Invasion Team is back full force and excited to provide a chance to give back while spending a day on the greens of the Pelican Hill Golf Club. COVID19 guidelines will be followed, including tee times in place of a shot gun start.
