The Marine Raider Foundation invites you to join us for the 2nd Annual 5 for a Hero Virtual Challenge. Run, walk, hike, bike, swim, row or paddle 5 miles over Memorial Day weekend to honor our fallen MARSOC heroes.

Registration is FREE & opens up on May 1st! Sign up, choose your hero or heroes to honor, create your fundraising page and invite your friends and family to support your 5-mile trek. Fundraising pages will remain open until June 15th, giving you plenty of time to earn some great incentives including:
- Raise $250 and earn a Marine Raider Foundation patch
- Raise $500 and earn an Under Armour short-sleeved Marine Raider Foundation technical t-shirt
- Raise $1,000 and earn a pair of Oakley sunglasses
- Raise $2,000 and earn a Marine Raider Foundation race kit (cycling, tri and running kits will be available)
In 2021, over $28,000 was raised to help support Marine Raiders and their families! Participants were as young as 7 and as wise as 74, included families, friends and co-workers, and 17 people raised $1,000 0r more, earning some great swag that included Oakley sunglasses!
This Memorial Day weekend, log 5 miles to honor and remember Marine Raider heroes.
- Log your miles from Friday, May 27th to Monday, May 30th
- Complete all 5 miles at once or break it up over four days
- Mix up how you log those miles – walk, hike, jog, run, swim, row, bike! As long as the only “motor” is your heart, lungs, legs and arms, you’re good to go!
- Make it a family or team affair, or do it solo!
- Dog walks count, too!
