Dan is a Senior Associate with Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice specializing in Technology and M&A operations strategy. He grew up in Sacramento, CA and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2005. During his fourteen years in the military, he served as an infantry scout section leader, a Marine Raider element leader, an advanced sniper instructor, and as a technical capability developer for MARSOC. Dan conducted multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as diplomatic engagement missions across Southeast Asia. He holds a BS from Norwich University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and lives in Austin, TX with his dog and running partner “Nietzsche.”
